  • Nosologic map of the Japanese Shell in mainland Portugal. The health screening of the species population aims the identification and characterization of diseases affecting the Japanese Shell and their characterization both as to its epidemiology (incidence, prevalence and intensity of the disease), as to their impact on production. This information is intended to characterize the different production areas of the species from the health point of view.

  • The Nazaré Artificial Reef deployed in 2010, covering an area of apr. 3 Km2 was a public project commissioned by the Nazaré Council, with the technical and scientific support of the multidisplinary research team from IPMA.

  • Delimitation and classification of coastal and estuarine-lagoon areas of molluscs and bivalve production located in the mainland published by Diário da República (the Portuguese Official Gazette) Nº. 45/2017, 2nd series of 2017-03-03, Order Nº. 1851/2017.   • Areas that evidence the occurrence of submarine landslides, located between the Middle Atlantic Rift zone (Azores archipelago) and the Continental margin.

  • Location of the sampling stations considered in the analyzes from IPMA's Phytoplankton Laboratory included in the National Bivalve Molluscs Monitoring System.

  • This service was prepared for 3rd national report under Article 17 section 1 of the Habitats Directive (2007-2012), corresponding to the to the distribution, through a grid 10 x 10 km, of the natural habitats of comunity interest listed in Annex I of the Habitats Directive, particularly the marine and coastal habitats.

The health screening of the species population aims the identification and characterization of diseases affecting the Pacific Cupped Oyster and their characterization both as to its epidemiology (incidence, prevalence and intensity of the disease), as to their impact on production. This information is intended to characterize the different production areas of the species from the health point of view.

  • This service was prepared for 3rd national report under Article 17 section 1 of the Habitats Directive (2007-2012), corresponding to the to the distribution, through a grid 10 x 10 km, of the natural habitats of comunity interest listed in Annex I of the Habitats Directive, particularly the marine and coastal habitats.

  • The coastline of Madeira Autonomous Region (Madeira, Porto Santo, Desertas and Selvagens), was based on Geometric Registration of Rustic Property (CGPR), with scales of 1:500 and 1:1000. It was subsequently updated based on data from Hydrographic Institute and orthophotos. The administrative divisions have CGPR bases with scales of 1:500, 1:1000, 1:2000 and 1:5000. Legal instruments were used, with the help of the Local Authorities (Municipal and Parish Councils). In this data set are present DICOFRE codes and names of their parish.
